Trammell Crow to Develop Medical Campus in Johns Creek

Atlanta, Georgia – Trammell Crow Company, in a real estate joint venture with MetLife, is pleased to announce the development of Woodlands Park, a multi-phase medical campus on 17 acres in Johns Creek.

The first phase of the project, Woodlands Park Medical Arts I, is a four-story, 100,000-square-foot medical office building that broke ground in late February and has an anticipated completion and occupancy in the first quarter of 2009.

With a population of approximately 65,000, the addition of the medical facility to the community is vital, as Johns Creek is now the 10th largest city in the state of Georgia.

The new building will be located at 12000 West Johns Crossing, bordering the Emory Johns Creek Hospital campus. Close proximity to the 110-bed, all private room hospital will be an immense advantage to physician practices located in the building.

“We believe that the availability of surgery facilities, advanced imaging capabilities, and emergency and intensive care services next door at Emory Johns Creek Hospital will make Woodland Park Medical Arts I a convenient, prestigious location for any physician,” said Steve Wheeler, Vice President of Trammell Crow Company in charge of marketing of the development.

The architect for the project is Wakefield Beasley & Associates, and Brasfield & Gorrie has been selected as the general contractor.
